Title: Homogeneity Range Of The Superconducting Chevrel Phase:snmo6sx

Abstract: The homogeneity range of the superconducting Chevrel phase SnMo6Sx was studied as a function of sulfur content (6.9 ≤ × ≤ 8.0). X-ray diffraction, lattice parameter and superconducting temperature measurements plus corrections for unintentional oxygen addition indicate a very narrow homogeneity range around the composition SnMo6S7.5 at the oxygen solubility limit. © 1988.
